Welcome to this site which hopes to show you some of the work that goes on here at Snowdonia Retreat The art studio below is a fancy name for a garage that has been turned into the space where we do art work On Open Days you will be able to visit see art for sale and exhibitions of paintings by Annette, John and from time to time other local artists.

Snowdonia Retreat is surrounded by natural beauty with endless options for painting - the pond just outside of the window, the hills in the distance, the views to the valley, sheep in the fields, flora and fauna, or take an easle up onto the land and find your own special place to paint.

We do not run classes but if you wish to come and stay at our Retreat and work in the studio this can often be arranged. Visitors on Personal Retreat are encouraged to use art as part of their self expression or relaxation
